There are 4 good farm houses but no other buildings of note. The highest land is 466 feet above the level of the sea at low water. The road from Kingscourt and Shercock to Cavan passes E. and W. through it and a road to Ballybay passes through the N.E. A road to Cootehill passes N.W. through this townland. Barnagrove lough is at the N. side, Killaliss Lough at the W. side, Cullies Lough at the S. side of the townland and the Black Lough within 1 chain of the Ballybay road. There are several lime kilns and wells in this townland.
