This townland contains 130a. 0r. lp. statute, all cultivated with the exception of about 7 acres of bog and 4 1/4 acres of water. It is the property of Col. W. Young. There are no farm houses or buildings of note. The highest land is about 590 feet above the level of the sea, at low watermark. There is a fort about the centre of the townland. There are 5 lime kilns in it and a communication road passes through from N. to S. At the E. side an old road from N. to S. passes through the centre of townland.
