Leases of farms are of 3 lives and 31 years. The holdings are for 2 lives living. It is the property of Lord Garvagh and the valuation to the Co. cess is 1s. 8d. per acre. There are 3 or 4 good farm houses but no other buildings of note. The highest land is about 473 feet above the level of the sea, at low water. There is a corn mill in the W. side of the townland, diameter of wheels of mill is 12 feet with over-shot power. There is a pound 4 chains from the mill and a smithy within 6 chains of the mill. There is a communication road passing N. and S. through the townland and another branching off from this road at the smithy in an E. direction.
