The main road from Oldcastle to Virginia runs thro' the townland on the East side of which is a gentleman's seat, the country residence of Counsellor Richd. Scott of Dublin. The undermentioned fish are caught in the Lough, trout, pike, perch, eels, shellfish and bream.
