It is the property of the Bishop of Kilmore and contains 193 1/2 acres of which 10 1/4 are water and 10 1/4 are bog. It contains the ruins of a Church in an old Grave Yard. A Lough in its S.E. part is 337 feet above the sea and another on its W. is 331 feet; the church ruins is (sic) 421 feet above the sea.
