Is the property of the Marquis of Headfort and contains 379 acres of arable land, with 23 of bog and 10 of plantation. There are two ancient forts in the townland one situated near its West boundary, the other in the Southern part of the townland. The Oldcastle and Bailieborough road passes through it.
